Antinol® is a super potent, Green-Lipped Mussel extract that is processed at our world-class extraction facility within 2 hours of harvesting, ensuring it retains its active goodness.
The mussels are stabilised and freeze-dried, before undergoing our unique proprietary supercritical fluid extraction technique. This technology is solvent and heat-free, protecting the active ingredients to ensure the highest quality oils are packed into Antinol®.
We contain no mussel powder. Mussel powder is a waste product of our production process. Our proprietary extraction process concentrates the fatty acids in the capsule and means that the capsule has 20 times more fatty acids than the freeze-dried mussel powder.

How long does it take to see a difference from a dog joint supplement?
Each pet is different! Changes can be seen as early as 3 to 4 days after starting Antinol®, but most pet owners will notice changes from 10 days of use. This may vary depending on the individual situation of your cat or dog, so we recommend that you continue to give Antinol® and monitor your pet for 60 days. For the first 15 days, we recommend that you feed double the normal amount of Antinol® to reach the appropriate nutritional level.

When should I feed my pet Antinol®?
It’s up to you – with their main meal or as a treat. When giving twice as many capsules in the first 15 days, you can split them throughout the day, or safely feed them all in one go.

How long should I feed my dog Antinol® for?
Most pet parents see results after 15 to 30 days, but it is different for every pet. This may vary depending on the individual situation of your cat or dog, so we recommend that you continue to give Antinol® and monitor your pet for 60 days.

Can I feed Antinol® with other prescription-only medicines?
Antinol® has no known side effects or unfavourable interactions with any other medications or supplements, although we would not recommend giving other Omega-3 or marine oils at the same time. Clinical studies have shown that Antinol® is best used as part of a multi-modal osteoarthritis management plan and it can be given daily alongside medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) as a long-term nutritional supplement.

How long does a pack of Antinol last for my dog?
At the daily maintenance amount, a 60 capsule pack lasts 60 days for a dog under 20kg and 30 days for a dog over 20kg. A 90 capsule pack lasts 90 days and 45 days respectively, and a 180 capsule pack lasts 180 days and 90 days. During the first 15 days the amount is doubled, so a first pack lasts less time than this.
