Sport Agility
Years Doing Sport I had my first taste of agility around 2006, when I was 9 years old with my first dog Tegan, a one-eyed show type English Cocker Spaniel. I started competing not long after this, when we added our first Papillons to our family, Sam and Mikey.
Favourite memory with your Canine Athlete My favourite agility memory with Link would have to be our Gamblers run at the Agility 4 All Grand Finals in 2024. It was our first time qualifying for the Games Semi-Final that summer, and we finished a fantastic 4th overall, earning our spot in the Finals at the end of the year. At the Finals we had probably our best ever Gamblers run - we timed the gamble to perfection, achieved the highest score over all levels and heights, and became the Gamblers Champion!
Sporting Achievements

Link is my first dog to reach Grade 7 and have the opportunity to run in Champ classes. He has also won up to Champ at Agility 4 All and has earnt his 'Champion of Steeplechase' title.

We have achieved so much more than I dreamed we could in the time we've been running together: qualifying for the A4A Grand Finals in '22, '23, '24 and '25; British Open Finalist at KCI in 2024, and now we have been selected to represent Team GB at the IFCS World Agility Championships in April 2026.

About Us

My name is Keavy McGrath, I'm 29 years old and live in Nottinghamshire with my 4 Papillons: Emrys (11), Link (6), Nico (5) and Rune (2). I've taken part in a variety of canine activities with my dogs over the years due to joining the YKC when I was 8 years old, but agility has always been number one for me! I love the challenge it brings and the relationship it helps builds with our canine partners, and some of my closest friends are people I met through this fantastic sport.

Link is my first sole-owned dog as an adult, who came home with me shortly after I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc in Zoo Biology. He has a very special place in my heart, and has pushed me to become a better trainer, not only for him, but to also help other people and their dogs through my own dog training and pet care business.
