Your gorgeous puppy is just getting started on their life’s adventure. Full of potential, you have big plans together. Whether they’re going to be starting canine sports, or you’re planning to see the countryside together, you want to give them the best start possible. AntinolⓇ is here, supporting your dog every step of the way.

When Should You Start Giving Your Puppy Supplements?

We recommend feeding Antinol® from 12 weeks old. At this age, your pup’s digestive system is developed enough to manage the lipid digestion they need to get the most from Antinol®.

Many owners choose not to give their pup a supplement when they are little, and this is absolutely fine. Not all puppies will need a supplement this young, although it will do them no harm and will support their health as they grow.

However, there are a few groups of puppies who would benefit from early supplementation:

  • 1

    Large Breed Puppies:

You might be thinking “St Bernard” as a large breed, and you’re right, but actually, any puppies who are likely to reach 20kg+ as an adult should be considered a “large breed”. Their joints need more time to develop as they grow and will need support as they will be taking the strain of their larger size.

  • 2

    Breeds prone to joint stiffness:

When researching your pup’s breed before you give them a home, you may find that their breed is more likely to experience joint stiffness than other breeds. In these cases, it’s important to give their joints support from a young age to help keep them active and mobile for years to come.

    Breeds with sensitive skin:

As with joint health, there are some breeds that find managing their skin health to be more challenging than others. Long-term skin health is important for these little pups, so providing them with support early in life will help them maintain healthy skin throughout life’s adventures.

The Benefits of Antinol® Joint Care Pro For Your Puppy

Antinol® Joint Care Pro is a highly concentrated blend of Green-Lipped Mussel oil containing over 90 essential fatty acids, including important Omega-3 fatty acids. It supports the body’s natural inflammatory processes, maintains joint health, supports skin and coat health, and maintains normal cognitive function.

Healthy joints today, for a lifetime of play
Whatever your plans for their future, healthy, mobile joints are at the centre of your dog’s adventures. Antinol® supports healthy joint function throughout your dog’s life, but in this early period, their play is bouncy, twisty and full of enthusiasm. It’s a lot of strain on young, growing joints, so giving them a powerful joint supplement early in life supports healthy joint development, ready for whatever life brings.

Quick thinking, sharp focus
Your pup is starting their training at this age, and you’re working hard to teach them new things. Antinol® contains all the omega-3s your dog needs to support their learning and brain health. DHA and EPA, in particular, have been shown to support learning and focus in young dogs, supporting their cognitive function, focus and trainability.

Immune support for a busy life
The first year of your puppy’s life is incredibly important for the development of the fundamental building blocks of a healthy neural system and immune response. Antinol® supports your dog’s natural inflammatory processes, helping maintain healthy, strong cells and a robust immune system throughout their life.

Strong defenses and silky shine
Strong, healthy skin is your pup’s first defence against the outside world. And with healthy skin comes a shiny, silky coat—their crowning glory. Antinol®, supports their skin health every day. It supports the skin's barrier function, maintaining health and hydration.
